John W. Schilt

Ten Years Experience as a Trial Lawyer
John W. Schilt has a varied practical background which serves well in identifying with both judges and juries.  He can articulate your position with utmost clarity.  From the complex to the mundane, he strives to serve the client's needs and preserve the dignity of both the client and the legal profession.   

Mr. Schilt is licensed to practice law in South Dakota, Minnesota and California.  He is registered with numerous Federal Courts in several jurisdictions.  He is also a licensed real estate agent, contractor, and pilot.  Mr. Schilt is also fluent in German.

Mr. Schilt has taught various subjects to Engineering, General and Specialty Contractors, preparing them for the California State Contractor's Exam.  Subjects include General Contract Law, Mechanic's Lien Law, and Accounting and Finance (2002-2007).  

With an M.B.A. in Management and Finance, John has successfully run several businesses including an Advertising Agency (1979-1989) and General Building Contractor (1986-1994).

Mr. Schilt is married and has two children.  Currently, he spends his free time coaching Little League baseball and serves for the City of Pinole, California, Economic Development and Housing Advisory Commission.  Mr. Schilt is also Chief Liaison Office for Charter School Development and Feasibility in the City of Pinole.  




Sabina Sadykhova

Sabina Sadykhova graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies. Ms. Sadykhova received her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law with a certificate in public interest in 2010. During law school, Ms. Sadykhova worked at Golden Gate University's Women's Employment Rights Clinic and clerked at San Francisco Superior Court, Family Law Division.

Ms. Sadykhova practices in the following areas of law: General Civil Litigation, Landlord/Tenant disputes, Bankruptcy, and Employment law. Ms. Sadykhova is a member of the San Francisco and Contra Costa Bar Associations. Ms. Sadykhova is also fluent in Russian.

In her free time, Ms. Sadykhova enjoys spending time with her family; playing with her Cane Corso, Tobi; traveling; dancing; and going to the ballet, museums, and other cultural outings.






Ann Harding Battin

Ann Harding Battin, long both an Attorney and a Real Estate Broker, specializes in business and real property transactional matters as well as general civil litigation.  She received her Bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Berkeley, and her Law degree at UC Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco.  Having done business for many years in Contra Costa and Solano counties  as the Broker  of ‘Batzer Real Estate’, Ann remains an affiliate member of the West Contra Costa Association of Realtors in addition to her membership in the State and Contra Costa County Bar Associations.  She is proud to be an Assistant Troop Leader for her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop and serves on the adult Committee for her son’s Boy Scout Troop as well as a Merit Badge Counselor.   She enjoys camping, hiking and just being outdoors with her family.
